The standards behind episode, character, location and travel content.
Original work
We write our own summaries and analysis. We do not copy broadcaster synopses, biographies or other publishers’ location guides.
Facts and commentary
Broadcast dates, credits and documented locations are presented as sourced facts. Character descriptions, episode observations and thematic discussion are independent Coastal Clues commentary rather than official programme copy.
Verification levels
Confirmed reporting, reasonable inference and rumour are labelled separately. A production location is verified only when a credible source supports the exact claim being made.
Sources and dates
Articles and reference pages show sources and a last-verified or updated date. Dynamic travel facts are linked to first-party information.
Images and rights
Displayed photographs have an original, open-licence or otherwise clearly permitted record. A source credit is not a substitute for permission. When no reusable performer portrait is recorded, the site publishes an original typographic identifier that is explicitly not a likeness. Coastal Clues will remove, replace or relicense material when a valid request requires it.
Embargoes and production privacy
We do not seek or publish leaked scripts, call sheets, unannounced casting, confidential production documents or precise directions to closed sets and private homes. Rumours are not presented as announcements.
