Using Coastal Clues
The site is designed to work with keyboards, screen readers, enlarged text and reduced tracking.
What is supported
- A skip link and landmark-based page structure.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, filters and spoiler controls.
- Visible focus styles and text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Responsive layouts that reflow on smaller screens and at larger text sizes.
- Maps that load only after a visitor chooses them, with ordinary map links and numbered location lists as alternatives.
Known limitations
External maps may provide less descriptive information than the page’s text alternative. Historic-site access information can change and must be confirmed with the venue. The site does not claim that every route in Looe is step-free, and no formal third-party accessibility audit has been completed.
